The Arab Association for diabetes and metabolism founded on 2006 is an international leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy

The global prevalence of different types of diabetes is rising steadily .Until recently type 2 diabetes was typically regarded as a disease of the middle aged and elderly. Evidence is accumulating that onset in those aged under 30 years is increasing .Even children and adolescents are now becoming caught up in the diabetes epidemic .

The Arabic Association for the Study of Diabetes and Metabolism AASD will share in wide range of activities .
